Imidro’s chief of staff announced the production of Jajarm’s first aluminum ingot. Yesterday, at 9 pm, the production of the first batch of pot number 6 started.
According to the Mining World, Khadadad Gharibpour said: “With the diligence and effort of all the executives, engineers and workers of the Jajarm Aluminum Billet Project, yesterday evening (6 March), a thousand pound bullion was produced in pot # 5 of the reclamation hall. He recalled that the smelting process had begun in the early days of this week, stating that the burner boilers of the plant’s reclamation unit were switched on in the past days and then melted.
Gharibpour noted: The Jajarm Aluminum production plan, which had been halted for the past decade in the Eleventh Government, was put on the agenda by Imidro as one of the country’s strategic industries, re-activated from year two. He continued: After the international opening and opening, financing and equipment of the plant accelerated and the first phase was completed.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Imidro stated: Foreign and Rial Investment of the project is € ۵ million and € ۲ billion respectively. He continued: The direct employment rate of the factory is 4 people and indirectly 4 people.
Gharibpour noted: One of the advantages of this plant is its proximity to the alumina factory and easy supply of raw materials for the production of aluminum ingots. He added: The capacity of the first phase of the Jajarm Aluminum Production Project is 6,000 tons and will reach 6,000 tons in the next phases (Phase II and III).
